I am part of the generation that grew up with one foot in the old world and the other in the Internet age. I consider myself a decidedly solitary type: I live and “nourish myself” with relationships, I love debating on political or social issues, I strongly believe in confrontation and collaboration, an aspect that since I was an adolescent pushed me to practice sports where the team matters a lot more of the individual and that still puts me at ease in teamwork, even when there is to express or take charge of the leadership I have gained my professional and life experience trying to balance the purely technical aspects with the broader cultural and social ones , helped in this by the passion for history and philosophy. Engineer before that for university path for ‘forma mentis’, I tell a smile to those who ask me to have entered the world of software from a kind of side door. The university studies started according to a more economic-managerial imprint, took a more and more practical direction, then the possibility to deepen the aspects of programming and the software design cycle have finally made clear a deep and exciting interest towards everything what we now call Information Technology. The first experiences “on the field” are characterized by tasks of analysis and modeling of systems, I am fortunate to work with several very skilled teams, create deep bonds between colleagues, meet and discuss technology also and above all out of the working time. Designing and implementing applications to automate processes or to solve problems / needs is transformed from a simple work activity into a sort of hobby, making the line that separates work and leisure almost undefined. After several years of experience in software consulting in enterprise contexts (see Wind, Telecom, Lottomatica, NTT Data, etc.) we decided together with my partner to found our software services platform, with the aim of providing our partners with solutions technology to their needs, overcoming the “time-material” relationship still so much in vogue in consulting contracts.
